By accessing or using LegacyTelcoWizard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Purpose & Academic Context

This Service is an academic capstone project (IST 440W, Penn State University, Summer 2026) created for educational purposes. It provides a reference and diagnostic companion for legacy telecommunications equipment. It is not affiliated with Alcatel-Lucent, AT&T, Siemens, or any equipment vendor.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Service for personal, educational, or professional reference purposes. You may not: (a) use the Service to transmit unlawful content; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or data; (c) reverse-engineer or scrape the Service; or (d) impersonate another user.

4. TL-1 Terminal Disclaimer

The TL-1 terminal is a client-side simulation only. No commands are transmitted to any real network equipment. You assume full responsibility for any real-world commands entered on actual equipment.

5. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Technical documentation is provided for reference only and may contain errors. Do not rely solely on this Service for critical maintenance decisions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
